Talley’s Silver Spoon Serves Local Food

beet ice creamTalley’s Silver Spoon restaurant across from the Alex Johnson Hotel in downtown Rapid City serves local food. “Farm to table” is the motto of Chef Benjamin Klinkel, and he is making it happen. For the second year he is purchasing fresh produce from Battle Creek Gardens in Hermosa and adjusts his menu to take advantage of what’s in season. Wild Idea buffalo is another local food that is featured on the menu. And then there’s beet ice cream with toasted marshmallows, something we at DLFN intend to check out.
