In previous years Dee Holmberg sold at the Rapid City Open Air Market on East Omaha Street in Rapid City.
Dee Holmberg farms just north of Rapid City and has been part of local farmers markets for many years. Just this week she has set up her own indoor market where she sells produce she and others have grown, German noodles, jams and jellies, kuchen, local corn-fed beef, grass-fed buffalo, sausage, bacon, Dimock cheese, Hutterite chickens, Alaska salmon, and her own chicken and duck eggs.
In the back room Dee plans to install a certified kitchen where cooking and food preservation classes may be held. She plans to rent the kitchen during hours that her store is open. Those hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Dee’s Market is located next to Mr. Movies at 3609 Sturgis Road, the southwest corner of the intersection of Sturgis Road and West Chicago in Rapid City. Phone 605-786-6803.
